Privacy Policy
PDF Size Reducer is designed to reduce PDF files locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. No account is required, and your PDF content is not sent to us.
PDFs and On-Device Processing
PDFs you select are opened and processed on your device using native operating-system frameworks. We do not operate a document-processing server, and the app does not upload your PDFs, filenames, page text, images, or document metadata to us. The app never intentionally overwrites an original PDF.
Temporary and Saved Files
The app may create private temporary files and reduced output files while it analyzes, rebuilds, validates, or recovers an interrupted result. Temporary files are cleaned when they are no longer needed. A file leaves the app's private storage only when you choose a system save or share action. Files you save or share are then governed by the destination you select.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store onboarding completion, appearance preference, whether the free successful reduction was used, a short-lived reference needed to recover a completed result, and subscription-entitlement state. These values do not include PDF content. You can remove app-local information by deleting the application or clearing its data through the operating system.
Subscriptions and Payments
Apple processes iOS purchases through the App Store, and Google processes Android purchases through Google Play. The app receives localized product details, offer or trial eligibility where available, and verified purchase or entitlement state needed to provide Premium access. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
The app does not include advertising, document-content analytics, or cross-app tracking. It does not collect PDF content, filenames, extracted text, or images for analytics.
Support Communications
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device and app details, and message. Please do not attach a confidential PDF or include sensitive document content. Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary to respond, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations.
This Website
These pages are hosted by GitHub Pages. When you visit them, GitHub and its infrastructure providers may process ordinary web request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, time, and security logs under their own policies. Visiting this site does not cause the mobile app to upload your PDFs.
Sharing and Sale
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only to the store provider needed for purchases, providers needed to deliver support or host these pages, or when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.
Children
The app is a general-purpose document utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Security and Your Choices
We use platform security controls and keep document processing local, but no device or storage system is completely risk-free. You control which PDFs you select, where you save or share outputs, whether you purchase a subscription, and what you send to support.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, platform requirements, or our practices change. The current version and revision date will remain available on this page.
